If you aren’t already aware, BIG news happened recently in the CBD world. The very first cannabis based medication was approved by the FDA. And it is specifically for children. Children with specific types of epilepsy, that is.

It’s called Epidiolex, and the types of epilepsy it is meant for are Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome. So, if you were unsure about the safety, you can now rest assured CBD is safe for kids. In fact, several companies even make children geared CBD products! Some things CBD is helpful for in children are ADD/ADHD, epilepsy, sleep, and nausea. Basically all the same things that adults use it for, but with children you should obviously start with smaller doses. Does anyone have any stories to share about using CBD with their children? We would love to hear some more insight!
