CBD and Sleep: How Cannabidiol Enhances Restful Nights and Battle Insomnia

Moreover, this research highlighted that CBD might help those who experience nightmares and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) to achieve a more relaxed and restful sleep.

Another study published in 2019 demonstrated that CBD could help manage short-term sleep disorders. In this particular research, a striking 66.7% reported better sleep. To top that off, a review in 2017 of the scientific research on CBD usage also concluded that the compound appears to have a healing effect on the sleep-wake cycle.

While we can’t ignore the promising findings, it’s important to acknowledge the need for more comprehensive studies on the usage of CBD as a sleep aid. The existing research offers a strong foundation and sheds light on the potential of CBD as an insomnia treatment, but it’s still in the early stages. Therefore, further studies are required to determine the right dosage, the long-term effects, and the nature of interaction with other sleep aids.
